DISCOVERY

I made Discovery while reflecting on childhood memories spent listening to music in the car with my father. One of the first albums I had on my iPod, Discovery has influenced both my interest in music and artistic aesthetic. The visual album, “Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem,” was produced by Toei Animation, directed by Kazuhisa Takenouchi, and supervised by the mangaka Leiji Matsumoto. It remains one of my favorite collaborative projects of all-time.
